About Us

In 2015, I had the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of opening my own brick and mortar quilting store in Williston, VT. I have been a lifelong quilter, delighting in the creative process that produces a beautiful finished quilt, whether that’s something that can be snuggled up under, used to decorate a room as a table runner or art piece on the wall. Quilts bring joy and they bring people together.

This opportunity to open my own quilt shop came at the perfect time; in the local area, one shop was relocating and another had recently closed. I wanted to help fill the void those shops left with my own unique spin. That spin comes in the form of having a wide selection of both beautiful and colorful blender fabrics, as well as carrying a large selection of wide back fabrics.

Over the past six years, Quilting With Color has offered and expanded its selection of bright and colorful fabrics, patterns, and notions, and has quilted hundreds of quilts through its customized longarm service. We have offered a variety of classes from our Beginning to Quilt Class to our Stack n’ Whack Class, as well as our ever-popular Tucker University Ruler Club, enhancing the skills and joy that quilting brings to quilters of all ages, even as young as six

As the store has grown and added to the quality of the local quilting community, it has become apparent that offering our unique fabrics and notions online would be a way to better serve our growing customer base. I look forward to the opportunity to better serve all of our customers, near and far, getting you the fabrics and supplies needed to make beautiful, lasting, memory-creating quilts.

Through the years, I have focused on creating the best customer experience possible by providing a high level of service by focusing on individual customer needs, unique and high-quality products, and a  customized long arm service. Expanding online will only serve you, my customers, better.
